6 PM Keynote Speaker – Lecture in hybrid mode (in-person and virtual): Reconstructing the Devonian Carbon Cycle Using the Northern Appalachian Basin Strata of New York State by Jay Zambito, Beloit College, WI. Devonian climate trends have long been studied within the context of biological change. This presentation outlines efforts using stable carbon isotopes to reconstruct this climate volatility as recorded in the Northern Appalachian Basin strata of New York State. Attendees can enjoy the talk in person at Lennon Hall 140 on the Brockport campus or online using this link (Microsoft Teams).
